In March 2024, we hosted Emiliano and Luis Cruz for three-days of learning and exploring the craft of making & weaving using natural dyes. The visit began with an exhibition of the families’ work at Santa Terra in downtown Todos Santos featuring an opening reception and demonstration by Luis for a gathering of about 100 guests. The weekend then moved to THE CO-OP BAJA and the garden of Hablando Mexicano, where two days of hands-on learning included working with cochineal, tarragon and indigo dyes for adults and children.
